Dear Diary,
Je suis dans Quebec. Parler de Quebec, savais tu que le nom Quebec ve dire "where the river narrows". Et savais-tu que le hibou des neiges est l' oiseau de la provincw depis 1897. Aujourdui, il neige et c'est tres froid j'ai mis mon manteau et mes mitaines. je suis allé dehors pour faire un bonhomme de neige. J'ai juste fait sa tete et juste cetarbre j'ai vu le hibou des neiges. C'etait magnifique.

Dear Diary,
Maintenant je suis dans l'Ontario je visite le CN (CANADIAN NATIONAL) Tower dans Toronto. J'ai alle dans le restaurant et j'ai ordre un tu que tu pe manger buffet c'etait tres bon. Apres j'ai acheter des billets pour voir les Blue Jays baseball dans le Sky Dome dans Toronto. et J'ai alle patiner sure le glacer Rideau Canal dans Attawa. Saver tu que les Iroquoian Indians on vive dans un maison qui sapel un longhouse c'etait constuir de le saplings et le cedar bark.

Dear Diary,
I am in the province of Manitoba and I have been exploring the countryside where I picked up a lot of cool stuff along the way. I found Dream Catchers, and gem stones. Now I am in the Thompson, a regional mining facility. First I checked out the museum of Man and Nature while I was looking around the museum. Then, I saw three kids playing with the drums, it was pretty funny. Later I went over to the mines where they are mining for Nickel. Watching them mine for nickel was really cool. Later, I went for a swim at Mistery Lake but it was a little too cold for my liking. I took another look for a warmer lake, and luckily came across Lake Winnipeg and the water was perfect.

Dear Diary,
Now I am in the Yukon. It is really cold here in between September and June. Did you know it is the coldest part of the season. Now I am at an antique store where I bought a really cool piece of native art, picturing an eagle. So, now I am in Dawson City, where I am visiting the Department of
fisheries. Did you know that they help save the Porcupine Caribou Herd for the government. After I went for a swim in the Yukon River, it felt refreshing.

Dear Diary,

Campbell River is really cool they have lots of sports
and their biking trails are so fun. They have a wood carving competition
where people carve really cool statues out of wood. I thought the
sea walk was boring but it was pretty cool because you can see the ocean and the seagulls.

Aujourd'hui je suis allée de Saskatchewan a Lethbrige en Alberta et j'ai fait du camping. Ma tante Kim a veunu visites mes elle na pas aportes son chien jes vue des fire works.je rest ici pour la nuit.

Aujourdhui mon papa ettes atraper par la police parce que il alles trop vite dans un sur un rue avec un ecole dans alberta.cet nuit je suit dans osoyese. je doit dormir dans mon auto parce que il fait de puis et de le litening.


Aujourdhui jes alles dans les auttre mantang rocheuse est jes dormir dans un motel avec trois lit deux de les lit ettes dans un autre chambre.mon maman et mon papa a partajes un lit et Moi et Hailey aves la chambre avec deux lit.dans la motel ile etes aussi un cuisine avec un stove.ill fait du puis et litening encore.je rest ici just pour la nuit.

Aujourdhui jes fait un bonne homme de neige avec ma famille. Jes vous un sculpture de glace moi maman et mon soar aller a un Bistro.

Aujourdhui jes alles de Quebec a New Brunswick. Ont a aller pour un picnicq sur plage. Apres lunche ont a continuet aller a Halifax, Nova Scotia et ont a vous Cape Breton. A Cape Breton ont a regarder les ballin. Appres ont a lesser nottre auto dans Halifax. Et ont a prondre lavion a Iqaluit, Baffin Island. Ont rest ici pour un saimain. je suis fatiguer.

Aujourdhui jes manger la petit degener a la comatic.Jes aller en komotic et chien,un komotic et un traneau que les inuit utilise.Jes apprendre que tooktu veu dire caribou,ikachi veu dire feu,muktuk veu dire bluber,nakomik veu dire merci et tima veu dire arette.Jes manger un bergur a la navagater pour diner.Peanut naim pas Ikaluit. Cest trop fois pour elle.Elle dois rester dans le hotel tout le temp.

Aujourdhui jes aller de ikaluit a poninlette jes prendre la komotic et les chien.Jes vous des caribou.Maintenent je regard les northern lihts.

Aujourdhui

Today I had breakfast in a restaurant in Kenora and bought a yoyo that said Kenora. While me, my mom and Hailey ate breakfast my dad slept in the car. I drove to nipigan and camped at a KOA.

Today I drove through Wawa, Ont all the way to Brockville. In Wawa, I stopped at a store that had a big moose in front of it and a big huge bird. I had ice cream and went into the store to look around. They had coats and sweaters and stuff and souvenirs. When I got to Brockville I saw my nanny, my cousin Heather, my Aunt Bev and my Aunt Brenda. I stayed there for 2 weeks. I went to a haunted park called Victoria Park that used to be a graveyard. I took pictures and there were ghosts. It was really fun and Peanut was crying and barking at nothing.

Today I went to St. Lawrence Park with Aunt Bev, Nanny, Heather, Aunt Brenda, Mom, Uncle David and Hailey. I fed the geece. When we were feeding the geece, they kept stealing the bread from our hands. We went swimming in the St. Lawrence River. We also went to Hardy Park and saw my other cousin Jenny. We fed the ducks and played in a water fountain. Hardy park is pretty.

Today I left Brockville and went to Collingwood, Ont. I'm staying here for two weeks. I met my Nanny Dean, Grampa Dean and Aunt Danielle for the first time. We cought toads, saw the big water tower and we found fossils. I went swimming at Wasaga Beach with my Dad, Aunt Danielle and Hailey.

Today I left Collingwood and went to Berry and stayed at my other Aunt Kim's house. Aunt Kim is my dad's other sister. I will stay here for 2 days. We played in the pool with Ravin and Shane.

Today I went to Miracle Beach which is not too far from Campbell River. I am camping for 2 days. It sure is a beautiful campsite. I wanted to go swimming but there was a deer in front of my trailor door and I didn't want to scare it away. Finally it moved and I went to the beach for a swim. There were a lot of fish, crabs and jelly fish. The tide came in too fast. I went back to my camp and started to cook. It started to rain so I had to go inside my trailor to cook. When it stopped raining, I went outside to have a campfire. It turned out to be a starry night.

Today I went on the Ferry. It went to Horse Shoe Bay. I went through Hope and part of the Rocky Mountains. I saw some mountain goats along the way. I also saw a lot of other animals. I'm now in Osoyoos, a beautiful town in the Okanagan. It was hard finding a campsite where I could take my dog but I finally found one. I sure am tired.

Today I drove through the rest of the Rocky Mountains and finally arrived in Alberta. It didn't look too pretty. It was very flat and there are not alot of trees but there are lots of windmill farms. There are a million mosquitos. When I first got here, I tried to have a picture of us taken in front of the sign but the mosquitos kept biting us. I am now at my Aunt Kim's house. Her dog keeps trying to attack my dog Peanut. Aunt Kim's dog is named Olive.

Today my mom let Peanut outside. When she let Peanut in, Olive jumped on her. I drove through Saskatchewan. I stopped by a field and had fun jumping on big bails of hay. I got my picture taken. Saskatchewan is greener than Alberta but similar I went through Moose Jaw and Regina. I drove all the way to Kenora, Ontario and it took all night.

Cherjournal Maintenant je suis dans Halifax. Je a regard un cart et j'ai a voir que Halifax et la capital de Nouvell Ecosse et le harbor de Halifax c'est le deuxieme plus grand dans le monde. Je a voir un garcon sur un chemais et il a did que dane 2001 il eter 359,111 person qui travay dans le vill ou tu peau pech ou a un ferm. Les autre vill je visit c'est Charlottown, Moncton, et Fredericton. Oh je dois aller. Aurvoir.

Maintenant je visit Quebec. J'ai vu la photo de francias exploratear Samuel de champlain a trouve Quebec 3 Juillet 1608 dans un musie. J'ai aussi appras que le nom "Kebec" viant d'un mots qui ventdire qaund la rivier etrique. Je a lies dans un livre que il y a comme 400 activites a chaque annes comme le ski du chiane,sculptour de glace, et le carnaval et beaucoup de d'autre chose. Je vais aller a Happy valley goose bay demaie. Ca c'est dans Terre-neuve et labrador. Je ne panse que je a plus de tamp. Aurvois.

Dear Journal,
Now I am visiting Qamunttuaq. The population is just under 1500. Qamunttuaq is the new name for Baker Lake, and that means "Where the river widens." Baker Lake is close to the goegraphical centre of Canada, at 64* 19N, 96* 02W. On April 1, 1999 Nunavut became the largest and newest territory.. The town is not very big, but you can still go fishing, dog sledding, and more.

Je manck quel-que jour me menent je suis dans Edmonton. Je a just aller a la mall il ettes beaucoup de magazans dedans. Il aussi a un de la plus grand parck amusant dans. le popoulation c'est 700,000. Et ese-que je a did que il aun grand football stade. Demais je a va a Qamunttuaq dans Nunavut.Dans Alberta le person cherch le petrole dans le terr. Mon tante et oncie vive a alberta Oh non je ne pas tamp. Aurvois.

Today I am starting my journey across Canada. My first stop is Campbell River. I've been looking at lots of things. I went to Quadra Island yesterday. It is a small island off Campbell River, which has a ferry that runs every hour. There is a Farmers Market on Saturdays during the summer, that has vegetables, flowers, chocolates, and soaps. We used to sell our fish there. Campbell River is famous for its great salmon fishing. Once known as the "Salmon Capital of the World." The population is more than 30,000 people, and growing.

Aujourd'hui moi Emily et cherylynn va revenir a campbell river.Nous commenser a revien on avion.Le premiere arret etais le province de Terre Nouveau. Nnous arrivons a la ville de St.johns.Apres sa nous prendons un autre avion a Nouveau Brunswick et donc Nova Scotia. Nous voix le ville de Halifax ou il y a long temp la etais un grande explosion dans le baie ce devaster le ville. Donc nous va partir de Nova Scotia.

Jour deux.
Nous etaient au Ottawa. Cherylynn dit"Ou est ma souris?" Emily et moi regarde a chacun autre avec surpris! Nous tourne notre tetes et il ete sur la chapeau de quelqu'n!!! Quand le person s'assoit Emily vite attrappe le souris. Finalement nous sommes sur l'avion et allons a le capital de Canada, Ottawa. Nous voit le parlement construction. Nous vont pas la visite. Nous prennons le traineau qui traverse Canada au Columbia Britanique via les Mountagnes de Rockies. C'est magnifique et tres grande. Nous arrivons dans Vancouver et voyage via avion a Campbell River. Nous dirons" Adieu" et retourne a notre maisons et va au lit pour coucher.

Je part avec Emily et Cherylynn aujourd'hui. Nous partons en avion. Nous arrivent
au Quebec, le petit Quebec est le capital du province de Quebec. Savais to que
Quebec on les Montagnes Laurentians ils sont les plus vieux montagnes dans le monde. Finalement nous sommes ici dans le Quebec. Emily,Cherylynn et moi pense
que nous aurons va a une hotel et loyer les chambers. Apres que nous faisons ca nous vont regarder les sculptures de glace. En Quebec il y a un competion de sculture de glace chaque ane. Cherylynn dit "Peut-etre nous pouvons essaie sculpter un sculpture en galce". "Oui!Oui! sa c'est un bonne idee Cherylynn" Emily dit."Peut-etre nous pouvons faire une sculpture de glace de ton souris Cherylynn" Je dit.Donc nous vont commencer. J'ai trouve une grande cube de glace. Emily fait la queue,Cherylynn fait les pieds et les mains,et Je fait le nez et les yeux. Nous
gagner trios place c'etais excited!Apres, nous celebrons dans mon chambers a l'hotel. Apres sa nous allons au lit.

Aujourd'hui j'ai departe le terra de midnuit soleil. Je aller on avion a Edmonton Le capital de Alberta. Je pence je vais aller a Ouest Edmonton Mall. C'est comme un P.N.E. la dedans. Je reste pour le nuit. Le jour suivant les personnes de Edmonton celebrent "Jours Klondike" et toute les personnes de Edmonton deguiser comme les personnes de ruee vers l'or era. Mais pour moi j'avais un attrapper un train pour Saskachewan.

Jour Deux

Je suis dans Saskatchewan maintenent. Saskatchewan na pas des montagnes mais il'y a
des champs de froiment parseme par les silos. C'est le corbeille a pain du Canada. Si j'ai regard pour un excursion de un silo. Donc j'ai aller dans et dehors de les champs et je trouve un guide des silos. Nous commencons le tour quand je vois Emily et tout a coup un couris cour dans le sile. Vien ici! Vien ici! Vien ici! Petit souris Cherylynn cri. E

Dear Journal,

I haven't written in you for awhile. Well,I took a plane all the way here to nunavut. Where they do many interesting sports. One sport they do needs two men
to hold a strong long branch wihle another man balances on it by grabbing hold of
the branch and pulling his legs off the ground. I think some of these sports come
form hunting skills that they need to knowl So far I've been sight seeing. Last
night I saw the northern lights. There are so many things I don't know where to start. I thought I would take a sleigh and some dogs. The husky dogs pull the sleds. So I set off. I past many glaciers and boy were they tall! But all of a
sudden I saw a polar bear. Luckily he wandered off into the snow.

Day two: Today I travel to a warmer part. Hopefully I'll see an inukshuk and that
would mean an inuit person has been there. Later,just before lunch, I went to a hotel and got in my room. I looked out my window and to my surprise I saw an
inukshik surrounded by yellow flowere. I grabbed my camera and left. When I got
there it was beautiful I snapped a photo or two and went to have lunch at the hotel, where I sat and thought about my grandfather who worked in the north for many years, he even worked in the Arctic Circle.
